Statement
My paintings suggest ideas and meanings I feel are important. These are the lessons of history, personal and universal. I paint with oils, and occasionally with acrylics, on canvas or panel. I try to communicate as clearly and directly as possible. Some of my influences include Balthus, Bernard Buffet, and Leon Golub.
